Disclaimer

Readers deserve to know how a site gets paid and where its limits are. Here is that information for AthleticLift.

Where the Money Comes From

Two sources fund this site. Display ads, served programmatically through Mediavine, pay based on traffic. Affiliate links pay a commission when a reader clicks through and completes a purchase; we earn from many different affiliate programs on qualifying purchases. Commissions are paid by the retailer and never raise the price you pay.

What we do not do: accept payment to publish articles, take free products in exchange for coverage, or let any brand edit our content. Should a sponsored arrangement ever appear on this site, it will be labeled as sponsored at the top of the piece, not buried in fine print.

How Products End Up in Articles

A product gets mentioned because it serves the topic, full stop. Affiliate availability does not decide what we recommend, and plenty of things we link to earn us nothing. If our opinion of a product changes, we update or remove the mention rather than leave stale praise standing because it converts.

Health and Fitness Content Comes With Limits

AthleticLift writes about nutrition, food, and training for a general adult audience. The content is educational. It is not medical advice, it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a professional who has examined you, and it cannot account for your injuries, conditions, medications, or history. Get clearance from a physician before starting a new diet or training protocol, and stop and seek care if something hurts in a way it should not. Results described anywhere on this site are individual experiences, not promises.

On Accuracy

Articles reflect our best understanding when written, checked against the sources available to us. Nutrition science moves, products get reformulated, and links rot. We correct errors when we find them or when readers point them out, and each article carries its last-updated date. Even so, we make no guarantee that every figure or claim remains current the day you read it. Verify anything that matters to your health or wallet before acting on it.

Third-Party Content

Quoted studies, embedded media, and outbound links belong to their respective owners. Linking to a source is not an endorsement of everything that source has ever published, and we bear no responsibility for content hosted elsewhere.
